Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Limit Hold'em

Shaun Deeb raised from late position and Mike Gorodinsky put in the second bet from the small blind. Deeb called.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Gorodisnky bet, Deeb called.

The same action would happen on the turn and river as well, the {6-Hearts} and {9-Spades} respectively, with Deeb calling big bets from Gorodinsky on each street.

Gorodinsky showed the goods at showdown, he had {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for the winner that left Deeb low.

*****

Omaha 8/B

Shaun Deeb raised from the button and action was on Philip Long in the big blind. After thinking for a bit, he put in the second bet that moved Deeb all in.

Shaun Deeb: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Philip Long: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The flop showed up {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

"Oh yeah, I'm scooping you," said Deeb. "No jack, no nine."

Unfortunately for Deeb, the {9-Spades} hit the turn and the {j-Diamonds} hit the river to end another deep Deeb run.

More for Korn and Wong

Level 18 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Andres Korn had chipped up slightly and then raised for Gary Benson to defend the big blind. Benson check-called a bet on the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop before they checked it down on the {a-Hearts} turn and {8-Hearts} river. Benson tabled {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for tens and fours, which Korn beat with the {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}.

One hand later, Ismael Bojang raised and called a three-bet by Jerry Wong. Bojang check-called the {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop, while the {q-Hearts} turn was checked. The {10-Spades} fell on the river and Bojang checked, Wong bet and a tank-fold by his opponent concluded the hand.

Matt Glantz Eliminated Eliminated in 18th Place ($20,193)

Matt Glantz
Matt Glantz

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Matt Glantz: {4-Clubs}{2-Spades} / {5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs} / {6-Hearts}
Ben Lamb: {5-Spades}{2-Hearts} / {5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} / {6-Clubs}

Matt Glantz completed and Ben Lamb three-bet. Glantz reraised and Lamb reraised to get his opponent all in. Glantz called it off.

Glantz was behind the pair of fives of Lamb but made a pair of jacks on fifth street to take the lead.

"Good job! You got there!" Lamb said as he tried to give Glantz a fist bump.

"Don't do that! That's f***ed up!" Glantz laughed as he warded off the fist bump. Then Lamb paired is eight on sixth street for two pair.

Lamb peeled his card on seventh street and joked that he had filled up before revealing the {6-Clubs} for a miss. Glantz flipped over the {6-Hearts} to make a 6-4 low and a six-high straight.

"Now I'll do that!" Glantz said to Lamb as he held up his fist for a bump.

But the double-up was in vain as Glantz was eliminated just a few hands later.

Matt Glantz: {3-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Spades} / {2-Clubs}
Bryce Yockey: {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} / {j-Hearts}

Glantz had a pair of tens but couldn't improve past the pair of kings of Yockey and was eliminated in 18th place.

Andres Korn won a showdown pot against Ismael Bojang to pull the German mixed game specialist further down on the leaderboard and essentially even out the stacks. Bojang then raised it up against John Racener and check-called all the way with the nut low against a set of queens to chop it up.

Aaron Kupin: {x-}{x-}/{3-}{7-}{j-} - folded fifth street
Philip Long: {x-}{a-}/{3-}{a-}{10-}

Action picked up with Aaron Kupin facing a bet on fifth from Philip Long.

"How much do I have left? 70,000?" as Kupin looked at his stack. "I wish I played this game more. You raised, so you obviously have a good hand."

Kupin eventually decided to fold and wait for a better spot.

Long showed him that he paired his ace on fourth.

"Mistakes were made," lamented Kupin.

Razz

Aaron Kupin: {6-}{9-}{j-}{a-}{8-}{q-}
Christopher Chung: {2-}{q-}{j-}{8-}{5-}{4-}{5-}

Chistopher Chung completed and Philip Long made the call with just over one big bet behind.

On fourth, both players got the chips in the middle.

Chung showed the better hand after his seven cards were out, but Kupin had a lot of outs.

"You need to improve. Any card below a ten that doesn't pair you," said Chung.

As Kupin peeled the card, the table waited. "It's...paint," showing he couldn't get there and he was eliminated.
