Tsokaridis Chips Up

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Joseph Elpayaa was under the gun and raised all in for 107,000. Everyone except Paraskevas Tsokaridis got out the way and the two flipped their cards.

Joseph Elpayaa: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Paraskevas Tsokaridis: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The board came down {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Hearts} turning Tsokaridis' pair in to a full house and Elpayaa was eliminated from the tournament shortly before the dinner break.

Pulusani Doubles Through Kwaysser

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Sandeep Pulusani found himself all in and at risk from the big blind against Valdemar Kwaysser on the button.

Sandeep Pulusani: {a-}{q-}
Valdemar Kwaysser: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

It was a coinflip but one that Pulusani looked set to win after the {10-Spades}{q-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop. The {k-Clubs} turn did, however, give Kwaysser an open ended straight draw but the {3-Spades} river bricked out, sending the pot Pulusani's way.

Szecsi Flops a Set

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Tobias Duthweiler was facing a 24,000 raise from Norbert Szecsi preflop and in response he shoved all in for 158,000. Szecsi called and cards were on their backs.

Tobias Duthweiler: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Norbert Szecsi: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} immediately hitting a set for Szecsi. Duthweiler stood up as the {q-Hearts} turn and {8-Clubs} river came down, knowing his time in the tournament had come to an end.

Diaz Bursts the Bubble

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Guillaume Diaz
Guillaume Diaz

Guillaume Diaz moved all in for his last 58,000 from the button and was called by Ezequiel Waigel out of the big blind. Once play had come to a halt at the other tables, the two players' hole cards were put on their backs.

Guillaume Diaz: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Ezequiel Waigel: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Diaz was at risk but had his opponent dominated. That all changed on the {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, leaving Diaz on the verge of elimination. He could find no help on the {k-Hearts} turn and would need to hit one of three outs on the river to survive. There would be no miracle for Diaz after the {7-Hearts} landed on the river, sending him home on the pure bubble in brutal fashion.

Kyriakos Papadopouluos Eliminated Just Before The Bubble

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Christopher Frank
Christopher Frank

PokerNews joined the hand as Christopher Frank was betting 88,000 into Kyriakos Papadopouluos on the turn from the button versus big blind. Frank relayed to PokerNews reporter that he had bet 12,000 on the flop and Papadopouluos had called on {k-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Papadopouluos had also called the turn bet on a {2-Hearts}.

The river brought in a {5-Diamonds} and Papadopouluos moved all in for his last 300,000. Frank snap-called, tabling {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for the bottom set, meanwhile Papadopouluos had flopped two pair with {k-}{3-} and was eliminated one place before the money.

Frank now sits at the top of the leaderboard after that huge pot.

Robert Mizrachi Busts Yankov Before The Money

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Robert Mizrachi
Robert Mizrachi

After a raise from Robert Mizrachi from the cutoff, Krasimir Yankov jammed for 253,000. Mizrachi barely had him covered and thought it over, counting his stack out whilst squirming a little in his chair and eating his sandwich.

Ultimately, Mizrachi threw his sandwich wrapper in the bin and called off.

Mizrachi tabled the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Yankov had {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} for a classic flip.

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Mizrachi raked in the pot, knocking out Yankov. Mizrachi said to PokerNews ''If it went in I call, otherwise I'm folding'', referring to his sandwich wrapper landing in the bin.

Was he ever going to miss? Mizrachi, who was sat at the same table as his brother Michael earlier, is looking in good contention to cash now we're so close to the money.

Elpayaa Doubles Up

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Preflop action had Paraskevas Tsokaridis heads-up against an all in shove from Joseph Elpayaa for 40,000. Tsokaridis called and cards were on their backs.

Paraskevas Tsokaridis: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Joseph Elpayaa: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and the king was good for a pair for Elpayaa and to double up just as the bubble approaches.
