Tantillo Takes it Down

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With 25,000 in the middle and a board of {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, Elliot Smith checked from the small blind position to big blind, Fausto Tantillo. Tantillo bet 16,000 which Smith called.

The turn was a {3-Hearts} and Smith once again check-called Tantillo's bet of 36,000.

On the river came an {8-Clubs} which Smith checked to Tantillo who sat for a while before pushing all in. Smith went deep in to the tank and time was called by another player on the table. Smith sat weighing his options until time ran out and the floor declared his hand dead

Fagerbakke and Hughes Chop It Up

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jason Hughes opened to 6,000 from under the gun and was called by Bill Fagerbakke in middle position. The remaining players got out of the way to set up heads-up action.

Action checked through the {8-Hearts}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop to the {k-Hearts} turn. Hughes checked for a second time and moved all in after Fagerbakke pushed a large stack of chips into the middle. Fagerbakke made the call with the bigger stack.

Jason Hughes: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Bill Fagerbakke: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Hughes was freerolling to a heart but could not find one on the {10-Diamonds} river, instead chopping the pot with Fagerbakke.

Matas Cimbolas
Matas Cimbolas

Cary Katz had moved all in small blind into big blind for his last 31,000 chips. The big blind took a while before making the call saying ''I will regret it if I don't call'', which got some laughs from the other players at the table.

Cary Katz: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Matas Cimbolas: {10-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The run out fell {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Spades} to bust PokerGo's Katz from the tournament.

Small Pocket Pairs Make for a Big Pot

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Yosif Nawabi opened to 7,000 from under the gun and was called by a player in the cutoff. Kalyan Chivukula three-bet to 37,000 from the button and Nawabi made the call while the cutoff player folded to send the two players to the flop.

Nawabi checked to the three-bettor on the {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop and then called after Chivukula continued for 48,000.

Both players checked through the {j-Hearts} turn and {6-Clubs} river. Nawabi showed down {2-}{2-} while Chivukula revealed he held {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. "Crazy hand," remarked Chivukula as he raked in the large pot, bringing the clash of these two titan hands to an end.

Vieira Chips Up

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Preflop action had a raise from Anthony Marquez to 5,500 followed by a 4,500 all in from the button and a call from both blinds, Joao Vieira in the small and Johan Schumacher in the big. With 3,000 in the side pot they saw a flop of {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and all three checked.

The turn was an {8-Diamonds} and Vieira bet 8,000 causing the side pot players to fold.

Joao Vieira: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Opponent: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

The {2-Diamonds} on the river solidified Vieira's hand and he sent his opponent out of the tournament.

Ho Survives

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Maria Ho moved all-in for just under 30,000 from the small blind and was snap called by Jinho Hong out of the big blind.

Maria Ho: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Jinho Hong: {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

It was a race but Hong had already started counting out chips to send Ho's way after the {6-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop vaulted her into the lead. The {8-Spades} turn and {j-Spades} river changed nothing and Ho got the full double up.

Negreanu Boosted by Rockets

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Chris Sandrock limped from middle position and Daniel Negreanu made it 8,000 to go from the cutoff. The button and blinds got out of the way to send the action back to Sandrock, who made the call to send the two players heads up to the flop.

Action checked through the {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop to the {4-Diamonds} turn. Sandrock then led out and was called by Negreanu.

On the {q-Hearts} river Sandrock immediately moved all in and was just as quickly called by Negreanu. Sandrock flipped over {q-Spades}{2-Spades} for a missed flush draw that became two pair while Negreanu held {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} for the second nuts.
