Robert Campbell Eliminated in 9th Place ($14,831)

Robert Campbell

Limit Hold'em

Robert Campbell raised from the small blind and Jake Liebeskind re-raised in the big blind.

Campbell called, leaving himself 115,000 behind, as they saw a {6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop.

Campbell checked, Liesbeskind bet, Campbell raised, and Liebeskind re-raised all in. Campbell called with {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} but was well behind the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for Liebeskind.

The {3-Clubs} fell on the turn and Campbell was already tapping the table and making his exit before the {q-Spades} fell on the river.

Jake Liebeskind completed before Adam Friedman tanked for a few moments before raising. Nick Yunis called, as did Liebeskind.

Liebeskind bet on fourth street and Frieman raised all in. Both opponents called.

Liebeskind and Yunis each put in a bet on fifth before checking down on sixth and seventh.

Liebeskind turned over {a-}{4-}{10-} for 8-7-5-4-A and both opponents mucked. Friedman pretended to throw a water bottle at Robert Campbell across the table before wishing the table good luck and heading for the exit.

Robert Wells raised and called a three-bet from Menikos Panagiotou to the {q-}{6-}{4-} flop. Wells continued and was called to the {3-} turn, with the action repeating to the {6-} river.

Wells moved all in and was called by Panagiotou, who turned over {a-}{k-}{5-}{2-} for a straight and a wheel for the low. Wells flashed {a-}{7-}{6-} for trips and an inferior low, eliminating him in 11th place.

No-Limit Hold'em

After Adam Demersseman doubled up off Dustin Dirksen with pocket aces, he and Richard Bai went all in pre-flop on the next hand.

Bai had {a-}{k-}, but Demersseman had picked up {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for the second hand in a row.

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} and Bai didn't get the miracle he needed to stay alive in the tournament.

Meikle Partin moved all in preflop for his final 31,000 chips, which was called by Joon Park and Jason Stockfish.

Stockfish led out on the {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop, with Park calling to the {4-Diamonds} turn. Stockfish fired again with a call from Park to the {k-Clubs} river, where another bet and call followed.

Stockfish showed {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a straight and an eight-five low, with Park mucking his hand. Partin turned over {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} as he wished everyone luck, ending his run in 13th place.

Omaha 8 or Better

Picking up the action on the {9-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{k-Hearts} flop, Ryan Roeder put out a bet.

"Are you all in," Nick Yunis asked.

"I will be if you raise," Roeder replied as Yunis did just that and Roeder called.

Ryan Roeder: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Nick Yunis: {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Yunis improved to a flush on the {2-Hearts} turn as Roeder hit a meaningless set on the {q-Spades} river as he headed for the payout desk.

Hye Park: {x-}{x-}/{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}/{x-}
Joon Park: {x-}{x-}/{a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}/{x-}

Joon Park completed and Hye Park called. Hye proceeded to call bets on every street down to seventh.

Joon turned over {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for two pair, aces and threes, and Hye mucked.

Left with less than 100,000 as the game changed to Omaha 8 or Better, Park called all in the next hand after Jason Stockfish raised. Joon also called from the big blind.

Joon put out a bet on the {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Clubs} board and Stockfish quickly folded. He showed {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} for two pair, while Hye had {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}.

The river was the {6-Clubs} and Hye Park became the 15th place finisher.

No-Limit Hold'em

Joon Park defended his big blind from a preflop raise by Hye Park and they went heads-up to a {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop.

Hye continued for 45,000 before Joon check-raised to 175,000. Hye called to see the {7-Clubs} on the turn.

Joon bet another 450,000, leaving himself around the same amount behind, as Hye went into the tank for several minutes before moving all in.

Now it was Joon's turn to tank before he announced a call, flipping over {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for flopped two pair. Hye, though, had gone back in the lead on the turn with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for a better two pair.

The {9-Spades} on the river improved Joon to a full house and left the 2021 Main Event finalist handing over most of his stack to his namesake.
