Gilbert Applies the Pressure

Level 21 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

With the flop showing {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}, Mike Gilbert called a bet of 50,000 from his opponent and they saw the {4-Diamonds} turn.

Both players checked and the river peeled the {a-Hearts}. Gilbert led for 500,000, which was enough to put his opponent all in. After a few seconds of thought, their hand was in the muck and Gilbert dragged the pot.

Hirschfeld Survives With A Flip

Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

With almost 200,000 in the pot, Tyler Hirschfeld check-raised to 690,000 on a flop {2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} after a bet of 150,000 from Mell White. He was close to all-in with just a 5,000 chip behind.

White considered what to do for a while before calling.

The {6-Hearts} made an appearance on the turn, and after a check from Hirschfeld, White put a chip in the middle of the table, to put his opponent at risk.

Hirschfeld decided to bet his last chip after looking at the screen to be sure a pay jump wasn't coming.

Hirschfeld held {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a flush draw and two over cards and faced {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} for White.

The river put a {j-Diamonds} on the river to give Hirschfeld the flush and take down the pot for a double up.

The opponent went well in the tank but eventually made the call putting themselves at risk.

Kennii Nguyen {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Opponent {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
