Davies Hangs Tough Against Shimon

Level 1 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Seth Davies opened to 10,000 in the cutoff and David Peters three-bet to 55,000 from the small blind. Liron Shimon flat-called from the big blind and Davies also called. The flop came {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} with only Shimon and Davies continuing to the {k-Clubs} on the turn.

With over 500,000 in the middle already, Shimon led out with a bet of 380,000 on the turn. Davies called and the {7-Clubs} completed the board. Both players checked and Shimon announced that he had ace-high. Davies proceeded to turn over {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} and was awarded the pot.
