Laskowitz Continues to Bluff the Table

Level 45 : 3,000,000/6,000,000, 0 ante

Paul Hizer opened to 12,000,000 in the cutoff with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Sam Laskowitz defended from the big blind with {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. The flop came {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and the two big stacks checked through to the {4-Diamonds} on the turn and the {8-Diamonds} on the river.

Laskowitz finally slid out a bet of 10,000,000 on the river with just queen-high and Hizer threw the best hand into the muck once again.

Quach Doubles His Short Stack

Level 45 : 3,000,000/6,000,000, 0 ante

Luong Quach was down to just 3.5 big blinds and shoved all in from under the gun. Jordan Pelon was next to act and gave it some thought before ditching his {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} into the muck. Sam Laskowitz, however, made the call with the big stack and the rest of the table folded.

Luong Quach: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Sam Laskowitz: {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

Quach was well out front with his pocket queens and the board ran out {j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} to give him a double up.

Anthony Ruttler Eliminated in 7th Place ($66,670)

Level 45 : 3,000,000/6,000,000, 0 ante
Anthony Ruttler
Anthony Ruttler

Anthony Ruttler moved all in for 14,000,000 from the button as small blind Paul Hizer quickly got out of the way. In the big blind, Luong Quach snap-called.

Anthony Ruttler: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Luong Quach: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Quach had woken up with queens for the second consecutive hand and was a big favorite to knock out Ruttler as the flop came {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

Ruttler's supporters on the rail began chanting for a nine to complete a straight draw, but the {k-Clubs} on the turn took away some of his outs as Quach now had a flush draw.

The {7-Clubs} on the river completed Quach's flush and sent Ruttler to the rail as the first elimination of the day.

Loiacono Picks Up the Aces

Level 46 : 4,000,000/8,000,000, 0 ante

On the first hand after the break, Jeff Loiacono ripped all in for 19,000,000 in the small blind. Paul Hizer was in the big blind and asked for a count before making the call to put Loiacono at risk.

Jeff Loiacono: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Paul Hizer: {3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

"I only saw one ace!" Loiacono shouted to his rail. The flop of {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} was extremely safe for Loiacono who was looking to double up. The {3-Clubs} on the turn gave Hizer some hope but the {j-Spades} ensured Loiacono of a double up.

Three hands after doubling up, Jeff Loiacono shoved again for 46,000,000 and Sam Laskowitz snap-called in the big blind.

Jeff Loiacono: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Sam Laskowitz: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop came {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Loiacono began calling for a club. "More of a sweat," he said.

The turn came the {k-Diamonds}. "Alright, ten of diamonds. If not, good luck guys," Loiacono pleaded as the river fell the {2-Hearts}, eliminating him in sixth place as Laskowitz added to his massive chip lead.

Laskowitz Adds to His Stack with No Resistance

Level 46 : 4,000,000/8,000,000, 0 ante

Sam Laskowitz opened to 16,000,000 from under the gun with {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and got folds from the entire table as he picked up the blinds and ante.

On the next hand, Laskowitz received a walk with {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and again met no resistance as he was awarded the pot.

When the action folded to Laskowitz on the button, he made it 16,000,000 with {10-Spades}{2-Spades} and both of the blinds folded.

Luong Quach

The action folded to Luong Quach in the small blind who shoved all in for 14,000,000. Jordan Pelon surprisingly asked for a count when the shove was for less than two big blinds but eventually made the call.

Luong Quach: {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Jordan Pelon: {8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} to give Pelon the lead with a pair of eights. The {a-Clubs} on the turn gave Quach a flush draw to go with his one live card but the {k-Spades} on the river ended his tournament in fifth place.
