Zak Lawson Eliminated In 14th Place ($10,367)

Level 22
Zak Lawson
Zak Lawson

2-7 Triple Draw

Zak Lawson was down to 47,000 when he decided to play this hand. Only Phil Long was against him.

On the first draw, Lawson changed two cards, Long changed one. Same scenario on the second draw, before they both picked one card each on the last draw.

With {5-}{6-}{9-}{2-}{2-}, Lawson made a pair and could not beat {q-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{2-} for Long who had a queen.

Two hand before that, Lawson confessed to his opponents that he never plays mix games usually. Akkari and Salazar looked surprised and speechless to that.

Owais Ahmed Eliminated in 15th place ($10,367)

Level 22
Owais Ahmed
Owais Ahmed

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Back-to-back losses to Daniel Negreanu have sent Owais Ahmed to the rail.

First, Ahmed raised to 40,000 in the cutoff, and Negreanu moved all in for a little under 300,000.

Ahmed called and drew one. Negreanu stood pat and showed {10-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Ahmed was drawing to {8-}{7-}{4-}{2-}, but pulled a {k-} to leave him with just over 100,000.

Shortly after, Ahmed got the last of his chips in against Negreanu with a pat {j-}{10-}{9-}{8-}{6-}, with Negreanu drawing one to {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}. "Kid Poker" drew a {9-} to eliminate Ahmed.

Christian Pereira Eliminated in 16th Place ($10,367)

Level 22
Christian Pereira
Christian Pereira

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Christian Pereira moved all in for 93,000 from the cutoff and was called by Michael Chow on the button.

Pereira drew one, while Chow patted.

Chow showed {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{2-} and Pereira simply mucked his hand, knowing he was drawing dead.

Adrian Panocki Eliminated In 17th Position ($10,367)

Level 22
Adrian Panocki
Adrian Panocki

Pot Limit Omaha

Action was caught with a {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop on the table. Paur bet in position and Panocki check-raised it. Both players finally went all-in, with almost the same stack, and they flipped their cards.

Adrian Panocki: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Taylor Paur: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}

Panocki made a straight on the flop, with a gutshot royal flush draw, against Paur with two-pair and straight draw. The {8-Diamonds} on the turn was one of the cards that Panocki had to avoid, because it gave a flush draw for Paur. The {4-Diamonds} completed the board and Panocki was eliminated.

Travis Pearson Eliminated In 18th Position ($8,455)

Level 22
Travis Pearson
Travis Pearson

Pot Limit Omaha

Travis Pearson raised it to 28,000 in late position, and KT Park called in the big blind. Then on a {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop, Park checked and Pearson bet 75,000. Park announced "pot" and the dealer answered he had to bet 305,000. Pearson snap-announced all-in and Park called.

Travis Pearson: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
KT Park: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

Pearson found a pair on that flop but Park made a set of jacks. After a {q-Diamonds} turn and a {8-Spades} river to complete the board, Travis Pearson was eliminated.

Razz

Brett Richey: {j-}{j-}{8-}/{4-}{7-}{7-}{9-}
Taylor Paur: {6-}{7-}{9-}/{3-}{10-}{7-}{k-}

Brett Richey was all in for his ante, but was in rough shape, starting with split jacks against Taylor Paur's nine-seven-six.

Richey ended up making a jack, but Paur pipped him with a ten, setting up the three-table redraw.

Hollink Eliminated By Chow

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Rob Hollink
Rob Hollink

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi/Lo

First to act, Rob Hollink moved all in for his last 74,000. From the small blind, Sampo Ryynanen called, as did Michael Chow in the big blind.

Then on a {3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} board, both players checked it down.

Hollink showed {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for ace-king high, and with {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks, Michael Chow took the pot and eliminated Rob Hollink.
