The tournament section has now expanded to the satellite area as Day 1a of the COLOSSUS still has a ton of tables running in Paris Black. Among those seated over there is also Heather Alcorn, who has already lost a portion of her starting stack.

In a three-way limit hold'em hand with 6,000 in the middle, they checked down the {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs} river and the small blind won the pot with {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a pair of eights.

Omaha Hi-Lo

Joey Couden raised in the cutoff and was called only by Gary Benson in the big blind. The Aussie then bet all the way on a board of {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Spades} and Couden called to get shown the {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for the nut straight. Julia Bounces Back

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

"Can you let the people know that I am sitting between two legends?" Nicholas Julia said when he spotted the live reporter on his new table in a corner section of the Paris Yellow section.

He had just won a pot with kings and treys, showing the {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{k-Clubs}{k-Spades} as open board against an {q-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} that had failed to improve. The two legends mentioned by Julia are Mike Wattel and Rami Boukai, who are both up in chips while Julia bounced back from a shorter stack.
