After a raise from Corey Wade in early position, Jon Smitson announced "pot". Action came to Silva and he announced all in for 385,000. Wade thought about that hand for a moment, but finally folded.

The two players had almost similar hands, but a player on the table just said this before the dealer proposed a flop "Hey, do not forget he's Brazilian..."
The board came and Silva took three-quarters from his opponent. Wade mentioned that he had 2-3.
"My plan was to scare you away", said Silva, "and looked like it worked."
Action was picked up three ways on the flop between Alex Foxen on the button, Shannon Shorr in the cutoff, and Robert Wachtel in the hijack.
On a flop of , action checked over to Foxen who bet 45,000 which saw Wachtel call and Shorr fold.
The turn rolled off a and Foxen bet once more when checked to, this time to the tune of 135,000 which Wachtel called once more.
The river came the and Wachtel checked to Foxen who moved all in for 266,000 and Wachtel went into the tank. After a few minutes the clock was called on Wachtel and before the countdown was complete, he called.
