Smith Wins 1.3M Pot, Out to 3:1 Advantage

Level 40 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Dario Sammartino opened to 90,000 and faced a three-bet from Dan Smith to 290,000. Sammartino called.

The flop came {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Smith waited a minute before continuing for 375,000. Sammartino would also wait a minute before making the call.

With already 1,330,000 in the middle, the {6-Hearts} arrived on the turn. Both players would again take their time before tapping the tbale.

Both players would check once again after the {10-Spades} completed the board. Smith tabled {a-Spades}{k-Spades} and it was good enough to scoop the massive pot.

With around 250,000 in the middle already and the board reading {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Christoph Vogelsang led out with a bet of 75,000. Kevin Rabichow raised to 280,000 which put the German in the tank.

Dario Sammartino opened the hand with a 65,000 chip bet and Dan Smith called.

The two players were both content to check the {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop and they went to the turn.

The {2-Diamonds} caused Smith to bet 100,000. Sammartino called.

The river brought the {9-Diamonds} and after a minute, Smith fired out a bet of 270,000. After nearly two minutes of thinking, Sammartino let it go.

Vogelsang and Rabichow Trade Pots

Level 39 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Kevin Rabichow opened to 60,000 on the button and Christoph Vogelsang three-bet to 240,000 in the big blind. Rabichow called and the dealer fanned the flop of {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. Vogelsang checked to Rabichow who bet 230,000 and Vogelsang let it go.

Two hands later, Rabichow raised to 60,000 again and Vogelsang just called. The flop came {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Vogelsang check-called a bet of 30,000 from Rabichow.

The turn brought the {3-Spades} and both players checked to the {4-Spades} on the river. Vogelsang made a small bet of 50,000 and Rabichow called. Vogelsang turned over {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs} which was good enough as his kicker played against Rabichow's {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

Smith and Sammartino Trade Stacks After Going All-in Preflop

Level 39 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Dario Sammartino opened the action to 65,000 and Dan Smith elected to three-bet to 210,000.

The Italian decided to put Smith all-in and Smith snap-called with {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}, dominating Sammartino's {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}.

The {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts} was no help for Sammartino, who didn't get there with the {4-Diamonds} on the turn or the {9-Hearts} on the river.

With Smith's full double-up, the two players virtually traded stacks.
