Kilpatrick Risks it All

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Lori Kilpatrick raised on the button before Cherish Andreww put in the three-bet from the small blind to 20,000.

Kilpatrick fairly quickly moved all in for 73,000 and action was back on Andrews. After thinking for a bit, she laid it down.

"I know you had it," said Andrews.

"I did. I wasn't afraid of you calling, I was afraid of losing," said an honest Kilpatrick.

Andrews Busts Zhang

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Cherrish Andrews
Cherrish Andrews

Cherish Andrews raised under the gun to 6,000 and Huifang Zhang called, followed by Junxiu Zhang to create a three-way pot.

The flop fanned {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Andrews continued for 5,000, which Huifang Zhang called. Junxiu Zhang raised it to 20,000 and only Andrews made the call.

Things heated on the {4-Diamonds} turn. Andrews checked to Zhang who shoved for around 37,000 and Andrews snap-called:

Junxiu Zhang: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Cherish Andrews: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Zhang was drawing dead and the {4-Clubs} completed the board to officially eliminate Zhang from the event while Andrews is approaching 600,000 in chips.

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Kayla Voogd
Kayla Voogd

In a three-way raised pot, the flop read {j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} when Yian Saelee checked from the big blind and so did Lexy Gavin. Kayla Voogd bet 8,000 in the cutoff and only Saelee decided to call.

The turn brought the {2-Diamonds} and after another check from Saelee, Voogd tossed a pile of 5,000-chip in front of her, putting Saelee at risk. The latter snap-folded and Voogd added the chips to her stack.

Botfeld Wins Classic Race Despite Doubts

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Amanda Botfeld
Amanda Botfeld

Amanda Botfeld raised to 7,000 from middle position. Action folded to Erika Weinstein who moved in for 89,000, all of her chips. Back to Botfeld, she called immediately and the two were off to a runout.

Erika Weinstein: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Amanda Botfeld: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

"I think you're going to win this one," said Botfeld.

"You think?" said Weinstein hopefully.

The flop held something for both when the {q-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{8-Spades} came out, but the set of queens had an iron lock on the hand. The {7-Diamonds} turn and {3-Diamonds} river made it official and Weinstein was eliminated.

Jamie Vela: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Abby Merk: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Vela had many outs for the double up but couldn't find any on the {j-Hearts} turn and {2-Hearts} river and busted right before the hand for hand play.

Weng Makes the Right Call on Griffith

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

In a four-way raised pot, the flop read {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs} when it checked to Chien Chih Weng who bet 10,000, only called by Shelly Griffith on the button.

A {2-Spades} came on the turn and Weng bet for 30,000, which Griffith also called.

The {5-Spades} completed the board and Weng checked to Griffith who bet 80,000, putting Weng at risk for a remaining stack worth 71,000. After some time, Weng sent a chip for the call, showing {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a set of nines and Griffith sent {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} into the muck.
