D'Ambrosio Piles Pressure Near Bubble

Level 19 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

The middle position player bet 35,000 and was called by the small blind Jimmy D'Ambrosio and the big blind.

All three players checked the flop of {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}. The {6-Hearts} turn allowed D'Ambrosio to fire for 85,000. The big blind folded quickly and after asking for a count of the bet, the middle position folded soon after, and the pot was pushed to D'Ambrosio.

Jimmy D'Ambrosio raised to 15,000 under-the-gun and found one caller from the button.

The flop was {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and D'Ambrosio announced "Michael Jordan" as he bet 23,000. The button player quickly called and they saw the turn {k-Clubs}.

"Walter Payton," D' Ambrosio hit him again with the sports reference as he bet 34,000. His opponent did not seem to be a fan of the Chicago Bears Hall of Famer because he raised all in for 95,000, D'Ambrosio snap-called and the cards were tabled.

The river was the {9-Hearts} which scored D'Ambrosio a big double with his pair of aces. This brought his stack back up to over 310,000 after a dry spell of doubling up six opponents in a row after the last break.
