Rapid All-In Showdowns in Quick Succession

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a board of {k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, Peter Brooks made jacks full of kings and Roee Shalom called down with what appeared to have been {k-}{10-}{9-}{6-} according to other players at the table.

Trevor Hebert was the next to fall and right after, followed by Abdullah Faiz. The latter was all-in with a short stack and joked "I need an ace" when he got it in with the ... {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Ronald Keijzer was well behind with the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} which caused some confusion on the table as to why Faiz would need an ace.

Sure enough, the board ran out {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Keijzer made sevens full of kings.

Badr Imejjane saw his stack reduced to fumes when Thair Kallabat flopped trips and rivered a flush with the {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} on a board of {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}.

Benson Eliminated by Hubbard

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Stephen Hubbard defended the big blind and then got it in against William Benson on a flop of {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

The {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} of Hubbard had the nut flush draw against Benson with the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and instead of spiking another diamond, he got there with the {6-Spades} turn and {3-Hearts} river for a straight instead.

Salazar Busts Cox and Sammartino

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

Towards the end of the level, the pace of all-in showdowns picked up again with the next three-way contest getting all the chips in before the flop between Aden Salazar, Dario Sammartino, and Michael Cox.

Michael Cox: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Dario Sammartino: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Aden Salazar: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Salazar spiked the nut flush on the river to knock out the two shorter stacks.

"I would have flopped a set as well, I had tens," the runaway chip leader Michael Duek mentioned in table chat. Salazar had been hot on his heels not that long ago but is now in the middle of the pack.

McCormick Among the Casualties Before the Break

Level 19 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Badr Imejjane and Tom McCormick were eliminated prior to the break and the latter eventually saw his short stack grind come to an end. With a severe short stack, he got it in from the small blind with the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and was up against the {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} of David Coleman in the cutoff.

The board ran out {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Coleman made a king-high straight.

"I didn't need that queen," McCormick said with a smile on the face and grabbed the queen of the board to turn it over.

Kabbaj More Than Doubles in Huge Pot

Level 19 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

After Patrik Jaros raised to 30,000 in early position and was called by Ronald Keijzer in the middle position, John Kabbaj raised the size of the pot.

Jaros called, but then Keijzer raised again for approximately 675,000. Kabbaj committed the last of his 100,000 or so chips and Jaros opted to cut his losses and fold.

John Kabbaj: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Ronald Keijzer: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Kabbaj would need a king, hearts, or some kind of straight to survive, and that help came right on the {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop. The {j-Clubs} turn filled Kabbaj up and the {6-Spades} river changed nothing to give the Brit a huge pot and get him healthy again for the home stretch of the night.

Tekle Doubles Through Alsaadi

Level 19 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Joining the action on the {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} turn, Tesfaldet Tekle checked out of the big blind and then called a bet worth 100,000 by Asem Alsaadi on the button. He then checked the {10-Diamonds} on the river and Alsaadi moved all-in with the covering stack.

"He put me all-in?" Tekle verified with the dealer, who then tossed the all-in button to Alsaadi. After some thirty seconds, Tekle called and the cards were revealed. Alsaadi tabled the {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for the wheel but Tekle had that beat with the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for a full house.

They discussed the hand and it was revealed that a trey had been exposed. "I had a trey," Oshri Lahmani chimed in while Kristopher Tate mentioned he would have also made a full house on the river as well.

"I wish you would have called faster," Alsaadi joked in table chat.

Nehorayan Nears Two Million

Level 19 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Robert Nehoroyan
Robert Nehoroyan

After Robert Nehorayan opened to 40,000, Stephen Hubbard three-bet to 170,000. Nehorayan then four-bet the size of the pot, and Hubbard chose to commit his remaining 450,000 chips as well.

Stephen Hubbard: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Robert Nehorayan: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

Hubbard's Kings had run into Nehorayan's aces and the {10-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts} runout couldn't save him, ending his night and sending a 1,000,000+ chip pot to Nehorayan.
