Gronvik Scoops

Level 4

On a board of {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, the cutoff bet the pot for 3,500. Mikael Gronvik in the small blind raised to 10,000.

The cutoff considered their options before eventually making the call and saw the bad news. Gronvik tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for the nut low and the seven-high straight for the high hand. The cutoff could not beat or match either and threw their cards into the muck.

Defending Champion Linde May Not Defend His Title

Level 3
Dylan Linde
Dylan Linde

Late registration for this event is open until the start of level 10, so defending champion Dylan Linde will have until then to hop in.

However unless he opts to do some multi-room multi-tabling, that may not happen.

Linde currently has a healthy stack of almost 300,000 chips in Day 2abc of the Main Event, currently being played in the Bally's Event Center, while Day 1 of this event is across the building in the Paris Ballroom.

PokerNews will keep an eye on Linde's whereabouts and chip stack as the day progresses.

Levkov Takes Pot Without Showdown

Level 3

Stephanie Chung bet 600 from the cutoff and was called by Joshua Levkov in the small blind and Jonathan Ingulls in the big blind.

All three players checked the flop of {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Levkov bet 1,500 on the {8-Diamonds} turn which received two calls.

The {2-Spades} landed on the river and Levkov bet 3,000 and got folds from Chung and Ingalls.
