"This is an important pot right here," Daniel Weinman said as four players went to fourth street. Joey Couden bet and everyone called. Couden bet again on fifth, John Smitson raised, Cory Salzillo called all in, Weinman got out of the way, and Couden also went all in.

Couden ended up with {3-}{8-}{5-}{2-} for 6-5-3-2-A while Smitson was drawing to the same low with {10-}{a-}{3-}. He hit a five on his last card to split the pot with Couden, while Salzillo, left with a nine-low, was eliminated.

Zack Eliminated By Scully

Through various raising and re-raising, Dan Zack got in his remaining 10,000 against Ryan Scully.

On seventh street Scully turned over a {5-} for a nine-eight and Zack sweat the seventh street card, but disappointedly said "It's a picture," before turning over a {q-}. He wished his table mates luck as he exited the tournament area.

Savage Checks Down an Eight

Matt Savage called a bet on fourth street before he led out on fifth.

His opponent called and Savage checked on sixth. His opponent put out a bet and Savage called as both players checked down on seventh.

"Eight," Savage announced, turning over {9-}{4-}{4-} for 8-6-5-4-3 as the Poker Hall of Fame nominee climbed up to more than 120,000.

Bohlman Falls To Johnson

Action was picked up on fifth street between Scott Bohlman and Jay Johnson.

Johnson bet on fifth street and Bohlman called.

On sixth street, Johnson bet once more to put Bohlman all in which he called. Johnson turned over {5-}{4-} for two pair and an eight draw while Bohlman turned over {a-}{5-} for a king with a nine draw.

The seventh street for Johnson was an {a-}, giving him an eight and Bohlman was drawing dead to win before he turned over his {8-} seventh street and Bohlman exited the tournament.

Morris Making His First Razz Try Look Easy

Arthur Morris completed and was called by Greg Clayman. Morris bet again on fourth street and this time Clayman got out of the way.

A few hands later, Morris completed with a deuce and won the pot uncontested.

Morris admits he had never played Razz before entering this tournament. "I wanted to learn Razz so I can enter the big buy-in mixed games," he told his tablemates.

Morris says he has won a satellite into the $50,000 Poker Players Championship three years in a row but has never played in the tournament. Even with his dearth of Razz experience, he's near the top of the chip leaderboard so far today.

A player bet all in on fourth street before David Funkhouser raised. Cody Lleida called to fifth. Funkhouser bet again, Lleida raised, and Funkhouser moved the rest of his chips in the middle.

Lleida finished with {a-}{3-}{2-}{5-} for 8-5-3-2-A, while the all-in player had a 10-low and was eliminated.

"Can I win," Funkhouser said with {10-}{9-}{4-} showing, but he turned over another four on his last card to join his tablemate on the rail while Lleida scooped the pot.

Brewer took the betting lead on sixth before Williams raised. Brewer called, then bet on seventh. Williams just called this time.

"I got a seven," Brewer said, turning over {a-}{4-}{2-} for 7-4-3-2-A.

"Are you kidding me," Williams said, slamming his {a-}{2-}{2-} on the table before surrendering the pot.

Kessler Pleads For No Three, Gets Two of Them

Allen Kessler called PokerNews over to his table as he was all in for his tournament life with {3-}{7-}{8-} showing. He was up against Will Chao with {6-}{2-}{a-}.

"Please don't give me a three," Kessler asked the dealer, but he was still dealt a three on fifth street. He got another on sixth to make unwanted trips.

"I'm dead already," he said as Chao ended up with {6-}{2-}{a-}{7-}{5-}{8-} to knock out Kessler.
