Pho Finds a Double Up

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The table has been enjoying many beverages and splashing around in lots of pots. Before the hand started Nolan King put 5,000 blind from under the gun. Once the cards were dealt next to act Sokchheka Pho made the call and the big blind came along as well.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, the big blind checked, King continued for 11,000 which Pho called. The big blind check-raised to pot for 63,000 and King quickly got out of the way. Pho was put deep in the tank, thinking for several minutes before eventually putting in his stack of 48,500 total.

Sokchheka Pho: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Big Blind: {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

Pho was hesitant to make the call but once he did he saw how far ahead he was with top two pair against the top and bottom pair of his opponent. The board ran out {8-Hearts} and {2-Clubs}, securing the full double up for Pho as he sat back down and kept enjoying a cold one.
