Teliani Finds a Flock of Ducks

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Nohad Teliani
Nohad Teliani

Brian Hastings opened the action to 500 after a limp from under the gun. Next to act was Nohad Teliani who made the call and three other players came along as well.

The flop came {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, the big blind and under the gun checked to Hastings who continued for 700. Teliani decided on a raise to 2,000 and it folded back to Hastings who re-raised to 10,000. Teliani jammed the rest of her 14,000 stack in the middle and Hastings quickly called.

Nohad Teliani: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Brian Hastings: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

Teliani flopped a full-house but would need to dodge a lot of outs to hold up. When the {2-Clubs} hit the turn giving Teliani quad-ducks it was only a jack that would save Hastings. The {7-Spades} completed the board and Teliani found a double up to almost two starting stacks.

The action was picked up preflop when Scott Bohlman four-bet to 6,800 after being the original opener from under the gun and two players called.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Bohlman quickly moved all in for roughly 17,000 and only the cutoff made the call.

Scott Bohlman: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Hearts} turn {10-Hearts} river and Bohlman eliminated the first player of the day and collected a $500 bounty. The table has also agreed to open for pot under the gun every hand for one round.

"Playing this thing like a home game, we're all straddling around the table", said one tablemate while Bohlman stacked his chips.
