Hwang Finds Another Pot

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Jisup Hwang opened to 45,000 preflop from the button and was only called by Phu Nguyen in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{3-Spades} and both players checked their option. On the {j-Spades} turn both players checked again.

The {6-Diamonds} completed the board and Nguyen checked a third time. Hwang slid out a bet of 65,000 and without much thought Nguyen tossed in chips for a call.

Hwang rolled over {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for the broadway straight and enough to take down the pot.

Patrick Leonard

Patrick Leonard moved all in preflop for his last roughly 300,000 and was called by Poorya Nazari.

Patrick Leonard: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Poorya Nazari: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

It was the classic kings into aces cooler and when the board ran out {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs} the aces of Nazari held up and sent Leonard to the rail.

Baruffi Flush Leaves Saliba Short

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

With 340,000 in the pot on a board of {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades}, the big blind of Francisco Baruffi checked it to Vivian Saliba, who fired a pot sized bet.

Baruffi went into the tank for a short time before calling and tabling {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for the second net flush, which had Saliba beat.

The action was picked up on the river in a pot of nearly 430,000 on a board showing {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Alexander Zaverukha moved all in for 390,000 and Vivian Saliba went deep in the tank.

After several minutes of agonizing thought, Saliba reluctantly let her cards go and the pot was sent to Zaverukha.
