Dabus On The Winning End of All-In

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Frederico Dabus
Frederico Dabus

After a raise to 6,000 from middle position, Frederico Dabus is one among a few players to call, only to then be faced by a 32,000 all-in re-raise by the big blind. All other players decided to fold, and Dabus decides to take the all-in player on heads up by calling.

Dabus: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Opponent:{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board came out {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} with an {a-Hearts} on the river, allowing Dabus' pair of aces to beat out his opponent's pair of tens, and therefore causing his opponent's elimination.

Baksh Takes One Down to Chip Up

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

In the heads-up pot With about 18,500 on the {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{j-Hearts} turn, the action checked to Brandan Baksh and he tossed out a bet of 10,000. His opponent called.

The {5-Diamonds} hit the river and once checked to, Baksh stacked up a bet of 50,000 and pushed it across the line. His opponent thought it over as he asked, "Do you have ace-king buddy?" A few more seconds went by and he whipped his cards into the muck, sending the pot to Baksh.

Ielo Turns Trip Sixes and Gets Paid

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Maria Ielo
Maria Ielo

A player raised in early positon to 5,500 and Maria Ielo defended her big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Ielo check-called a bet of 4,500.

The {6-Spades} hit the turn and Ielo checked before her opponent put in a bet of 10,000. She min-raised to 20,000 and he made the call.

The {5-Clubs} completed the board and Ielo bet 25,000. Her opponent tanked for about 20 seconds and made the call. Ielo tabled {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for trip sixes and her opponent pushed his cards into the middle with a sigh.

Quads For Gavin

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Lexy Gavin
Lexy Gavin

Preflop action had Lexy Gavin opening to 4,500 on the button, the small blind calling and the big blind shoving all in for around 40,000. Gavin called and the small blind got out of the way to let them battle it out.

Opponent: {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Lexy Gavin: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The flop came down {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and with a set off the bat it looked pretty good for Gavin but her opponent still had outs. The {6-Diamonds} on the turn wasn't one of them and the {9-Hearts} that came on the river definitely wasn't helpful for him either. Gavin's quads were good to take down the pot and score a double up while leaving her opponent with one 1,000 chip.
