Event #77: $1,500 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em & Pot-Limit Omaha is slated for a 1:00 p.m. start today at the 2022 World Series of Poker at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas.

Last year's iteration of this event saw Motoyoshi Okamura of Japan emerge victorious, defeating a field of 846 players to take home his first career WSOP bracelet and the top cash prize of $209,716. He defeated Brazil's Rafael Mota in heads-up play to secure the title. Other notable deep runs included those of Ryan Laplante (35th, $5,507) and Josh Arieh (40th, $5,507).

Players will begin the day with 25,000 chips, with blinds starting at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. Levels will last 40 minutes today, before increasing to 60 minutes on Days 2 and 3. There will be a fifteen minute break after every third level, with a 75-minute dinner break after Level 9, expected to start around 7:40 p.m. local time. Late registration will close at the end of the dinner break, at about 8:55 p.m. Players who are eliminated before registration closes are allowed two re-entries.

Fifteen levels will be played today, after which the remaining players will bag and tag their chips before returning for Day 2 on Tuesday, July 12th, for a 1:00 p.m. restart.
