Action began on the flop in a swelling heads-up pot. Matt Berkey found himself in the big blind looking at a board of {4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

Berkey led from the blind for around 13,000 into his lone opponent, the cutoff player, who made the call.

The turn brought the {j-Spades}, and Berkey fired the second barrel, this time for 25,000. His opponent thought for about a minute before asking Berkey how much he had left. Berkey lifted his hands to show about 50,000, and his opponent again called.

The river fell the {10-Clubs} to complete the board. Berkey thought for a bit before checking to his man across the table, who immediately moved all in. Berkey snap-called for 53,400 effective.

"I just have a pair of sevens," said the cutoff, who showed {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

Berkey rolled over {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for flopped bottom set and the winner for the full double.
