Benyamine Left Short, Finds a Double

dsalituro • Level 17: Limits 15,000-30,000, 3,000 ante

David Benyamine: {x-}{x-}/{6-}{q-}{j-}{9-}/{x-}
Brandon Shack-Harris: {x-}{x-}/{a-}{a-}{a-}{9-}/{x-}
Felipe Ramos: {x-}{x-}/{4-Diamonds} - folded

Felipe Ramos completed before David Benyamine raised. Brandon Shack-Harris re-raised, Ramos folded, and Benyamine called.

Both players checked fourth street before Benyamine led out on fifth. Shack-Harris called, then called another bet on sixth.

"I hope you miss," Benyamine said.

"I hope we chip," Shack-Harris replied.

Benyamine checked on seventh, then called a bet. Shack-Harris turned over {7-}{3-}{5-} for 9-7-5-3-A to win the pot.

A few hands later, Benyamine would get his last chips in the middle against Jason Mercier.

Benyamine finished with {4-}{a-}{a-}{8-}{6-}{3-}{8-} for 8-6-4-3-A, while Mercier had {3-}{5-}{6-}{a-}{9-}{6-}{k-} for 9-6-5-3-A as Benyamine stayed alive.
