Ramos, Rotholz Check it Down After Ruling

Level 19 : Limits 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Felipe Ramos: {x-}{x-}/{4-}{10-}{9-}{2-}/{x-}
Hal Rotholz: {x-}{x-}/{9-}{4-}{10-}{2-}/{x-}

Hal Rotholz bet on fourth street and was called by Felipe Ramos. After another bet and call on fifth, they headed to sixth showing the same board.

With uncertainty over who should act first, a tournament official had to be called and the clock paused while a ruling was made. It was eventually decided that Ramos, with the {10-Spades}, should act first.

He checked and Rotholz checked behind. Both players also checked on seventh.

"I did not pair. I have a nine," Ramos said, turning over {8-}{a-} for 9-8-4-2-A to win the pot.
