Kornuth Takes Most of Baker, Hastings Takes the Rest

Level 15 : Limits 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

David "ODB" Baker: {x-}{x-}/{3-}{8-}{2-}{10-}/{x-}

Chance Kornuth bet on fifth street and was called by David "ODB" Baker. Both players checked on sixth.

Kornuth bet again on seventh and Baker threw in a call. "Got it," Kornuth said, turning over {a-}{2-}{3-} for 7-5-3-2-A.

Left with around 15,000, Baker got it in the next hand against Brian Hastings.

Baker finished with {5-}{8-}{3-}{8-}{6-}{4-}{a-} for 6-5-4-3-A, but Hastings made a wheel with {5-}{4-}{a-}{q-}{5-}{3-}{2-} to send Baker to the rail.

Ahmed Cannot Outdraw Aldemir

Level 15 : Limits 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Owais Ahmed got in his remaining 30,000 in with an {a-} up and Aldemir put him at risk with a {2-}.

Ahmed made a nine-eight but he was drawing dead on seventh street against Aldemir's eight-seven and he exited the tournament as Aldemir stacked his chips.

Hastings Cannot Fold Out Friedman

Yong Wang completed with an {a-} up which was called by Brian Hastings with a {2-} and Adam Friedman with a {9-}.

Wang bet on fourth street getting calls from both players.

On fifth street the betting lead switched to Friedman who bet and both players called.

On Friedman bet once more and both players called with a little bit more deliberating.

Seventh street saw Friedman check and Wang check as well. Hastings bet and Friedman sighed as he threw in the call. "Jack six?" asked Hastings which was no good as Friedman turned over {8-}{5-}{2-} for an eight-five which was good for the pot.

Dehkharghani Loses After Betting Dark

Ray Dehkharghani bet on fifth street and was called by both David Benyamine and Hal Rotholz. A bet on sixth was enough to chase Rotholz, but Benyamine stuck around to seventh.

Dehkharghani threw out a bet in the dark before receiving his card and Benyamine called once more. Dehkharghani showed {9-}{8-}{4-} for 9-8-6-5-4, but Benyamine turned over {4-}{a-}{2-} for 7-4-3-2-A.

Afterward, Dehkharghani accused Benyamine of slowrolling him for not turning his hand over immediately.

Rahim Finally Gets the Better of Yeh

Ziya Rahim bet on fourth street and was called by Andrew Yeh. Yeh did the betting on fifth and sixth, with Rahim calling.

Yeh put out another bet on seventh and Rahim thought it over for a moment, picking up his cards for one final look, before throwing in the chips.

"You win," Yeh said.

"I finally get to hear him say you win," Rahim replied, showing {3-}{7-}{6-} for 8-7-6-3-A. "After all the times he caught me."

ODB Spinning Up

David "ODB" Baker completed with an {a-} up and William Kakon raised with a {2-} which Baker called.

Baker bet on fourth street and Kakon called.

Baker bet once more on fifth street, but this time Kakon folded and Baker continued his spin up post dinner break.

Phil Hellmuth completed, then called when Chance Kornuth raised. Kornuth bet again on fourth street and Hellmuth called.

"I'll bet," Hellmuth said on fifth as he moved all in for 26,000. Kornuth called.

Hellmuth finished with {7-}{8-}{5-}{9-} for a 9-8-7-6-5, while Kornuth made {a-}{8-}{5-}{10-} for 8-7-5-3-A to eliminate Hellmuth as the "Poker Brat" stormed out of the tournament area.
