Zhu Takes Out Wasserson

Level 13 : Limits 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Eric Wasserson: {x-}{x-}/{a-}{2-}{q-}{4-}
Daniel Weinman: {x-}{x-}/{2-}{a-}{j-}{8-} - folded

Eric Wasserson was all in as Yueqi Zhu and Daniel Weinman built a pot on fifth street. Zhu bet and Weinman called.

Zhu bet again on sixth and Weinman got out of the way. He opened up {7-}{3-} for a 7-6-4-3-A and Wasserson showed {6-}{9-} for a 9-6-4-2-A.

Zhu caught a king on his last card as Wasserson pulled another nine. "Chop," he joked before heading for the rail.

On fifth street, Amir Nematinia bet before Daniel Negreanu raised. Hal Rotholz called the raise, but Nematinia put in a re-raise. Both opponents called.

Nematinia bet again on sixth and got two calls. He stuck out another bet on seventh and Negreanu called. Rotholz then raised, Nematinia re-raised, Negreanu folded, Rotholz re-raised, Nematinia put Rotholz all in, and Rotholz called.

Nematinia showed {a-}{2-}{4-} and Rotholz {a-}{4-}{3-}, both making the same 6-4-3-2-A to chop the pot.

"I don't know why you were re-raising behind," Nematinia told Negreanu after the hand.

"Do you want me to explain it in a video. You're a weird one," Negreanu replied.

"Let's end this," tablemate Owais Ahmed said.

"He needled me first," Negreanu said.
