$25,000 High Roller No Limit Hold'em Day 2 Restarts Today

Sergi Reixach

Day 1 of Event #8: $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em is in the books and 87 players bagged up to come back today for Day 2. With some of the biggest names at the 2022 WSOP at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas fighting for the glory of a high roller bracelet, Day 2 should be full of enthralling battles.

Sergi Reixach leads the way with 1,418,000 chips. Reixach has already cashed this series after placing 39th in the $2,500 freezeout and will look for an even deeper run in this event. Life will not be easy for Reixach, as he will have to get through two former Main Event champions sitting at his table.

Both Koray Aldemir (150,000) and Ryan Riess (122,000) will try to spin up their short stacks while navigating spots against the chip leader.

An unbelievable story to keep an eye on is that of Brock Wilson. Wilson ran a big bluff early in level four that didn't work out and left him with a single 500 chip. He managed to spin that 500 into a bagged 321,000. Wilson will try to complete the literal chip and a chair comeback.

Players will get going today at 1 p.m. in Paris Purple and blinds will resume in Level 9 at 5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante. Day 2 will play ten 60-minute levels with a 15-minute break after every two and a dinner break is scheduled after Level 14.

Registration is open until cards get in the air today, so the total numbers of players will likely increase even more.

Stay tuned here to PokerNews to follow all the action and see who can survive the all-star field and find a bag for Day 3.
