Shepek Splits Pot, Maintains Momentum

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Rhonda Shepek raised to 600,000 from middle position and a player in the cutoff shoved for around 2,000,000. Action folded back around and Shekek called quickly.

Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Rhonda Shepek: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {q-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Clubs}{q-Spades} and the players split the pot, but Shepek is on the upward swing with over 5,000,000 in chips. Elsewhere in the room, her partner Dominick French is still in the tournament with just under one million chips.

Dokler Comes From Behind the Unconventional Way

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

It was decision time on a flop showing {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Jonathan Dokler had moved all in to dial up the pressure on his opponent who was in the tank.

Eventually, he was called. Dokler was at risk and stood up as he was on a draw with the {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts} looking for a heart while his opponent had the {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for the pair.

The tun paired Dokler as the {3-Diamonds} came off and the river gave Dokler the win in the unexpected non-flush manner as the {k-Diamonds} binked off to keep Dokler alive for the time being.

Deeb Wins Critical Flip

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb had his opponent covered by just 50,000 and was holding the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} vs the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} as it was a very crucial flip.

The flop was great news for Deeb as it came {7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} to give him the boat. The turn was the {q-Clubs} and the river the {4-Spades} to give Deeb the near double up and keep his run for a sixth bracelet very much alive.
