Boris Kolev opened to 250,000 from under the gun and was called by Antonio Lievano on the button. Ronald Sullivan moved all in out of the big blind and was called by Kolev. Lievano did not appear happy about the situation but did end up committing his last few chips.

Lievano was in about as bad a position as one can be preflop in Hold'em. He found a glimmer of hope on the flop but was unable to improve on the turn or river, sending him to the rail in 14th place.

Kurt Jewell Eliminated in 10th Place ($12,190)

Picking up the action after the flop Kurt Jewell in the big blind was involved in a hand with Jesse Lonis in the cutoff. With the board reading Jewell checked to Lonis who led out for 350,000. Jewell made the call to send the two players to the turn.

Jewell checked for a second time after the turn and was met by an all in from Lonis. With 2,100,000 behind, Jewell went into the tank but eventually called off for his tournament life.

Lonis was ahead with his two pair and held on the river to eliminate Jewell from the tournament.
