Sylvia Loses Some

Level 13 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player on the button moved all in and, after asking for a count, Jesse Sylvia made the call out of the big blind to put his opponent at risk.

Button Player: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Jesse Sylvia: {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The at risk player had Sylvia dominated and was in a good spot to double up. He stayed ahead on the {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop and {9-Clubs} turn with the {q-Diamonds} river securing him a full double while putting a small dent in Sylvia's stack.

Rockets Send Psallidas To The Top

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Constantinos Psallidas
Constantinos Psallidas

Constantinos Psallidas in the cutoff found himself involved in a three-way all in with a player in middle position as well as the small blind.

Middle Position Player: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Constantinos Psallidas: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Small Blind Player: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Psallidas was in great shape to take down a huge pot, with his chances only getting better following the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop. Matters wrapped up early on the {4-Clubs} turn with the middle position player already vacating the tournament area prior to the {9-Clubs} river. The small blind survived, though he did take a big hit to his stack.

Sammartino Doubles Up

Level 15 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

A player in middle position opened to 15,000 and Dario Sammartino made the call out of the small blind to send the two players heads-up to the flop.

Action checked through the {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop to the {9-Hearts} turn where Sammartino took over the betting lead, pushing 15,000 into the middle. His opponent made the call.

Sammartino moved all in after the {j-Spades} river and, without much hesitation, the middle position player called. Sammartino turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, prompting his opponent to muck his cards.
