MacDonald Makes Katz Grimace

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With 4,000 in the middle on a flop of {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} Itay Katz in the big blind bet 3,500 and was called by Andrew MacDonald in middle position.

Both players checked the {3-Spades} turn, but Katz bet 6,000 on the {j-Diamonds} river. MacDonald took their time before cutting out raising chips and bet 17,000.

Katz did not look happy with the raise and made the fold after some consideration, with the dealer awarding the pot to the proud Prince Edward Island native MacDonald.
