"I F***"

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Matthew Gonzales
Matthew Gonzales

An early position player opened to 900, Matthew Gonzales called in middle position, and the cutoff raised. The original raiser folded and Gonzales called.

The dealer spread the {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop and Gonzales check-called for 5,500.

The {10-Clubs} landed on the turn and Gonzalez check-called again, this time for 11,000. Both players checked the {8-Diamonds} river.

"Two pair," announced Gonzales as he tabled {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, and his opponent mucked.

"Got him," Gonzales said. "Title it: 'I F***'," he remarked as he collected the pot to hold a nice stack with more than the starting chips before he headed off to dinner.

Schumacher Applies Pressure

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Picking up the action on the turn, Johan Schumacher was involved in a hand with a player in the big blind. With the board reading {9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Spades} the big blind checked and Schumacher bet out 11,000. His opponent called to send the two players to the river.

The big blind checked again on the {a-Hearts} river and Schumacher, after sizing up his opponent's stack, fired off 30,000. With a certain amount of humming and hawing, the big blind did eventually fold to send a large pot Schumacher's way.

Hartje's Cowboys Knockdown Van Fleet

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

After Colby Hartje fired in a raise to 3,200 from the cutoff, he was called by only Jon "apestyles" Van Fleet in late position.

On the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop, Van Fleet check called a bet of 2,200 from Hartje. Both players checked on the {j-Clubs} turn, before Van Fleet led out for 14,000, more than the pot. Hartje made the call, relatively quickly.

Van Fleet turned over {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, for ace high, while Hartje showed {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, good enough to scoop the pot, taking a large chunk out of Van Fleet's stack, who was left with just over a quarter of what he started the day with.

"I thought you had him," one player told Van Fleet.

"I did too. I thought I had a flush," Van Fleet responded humorously, sending himself and others into laughter, while Hartje stacked up his new chips.

Depaulo Hooks Another One

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Ryan Depaulo
Ryan Depaulo

With the flop showing {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Clubs}, the player in the big blind bet 2,200 and Ryan Depaulo called. Both players checked the {8-Clubs} turn.

The river came the {9-Hearts} and the big blind opened the betting again, throwing in 15,000. Depaulo responded by pushing all in and was met with a snap-call.

The big blind showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for the rivered set, but Depaulo had made the nut straight with {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} to bust another player.

"What are the chances you're the chip leader of the tournament," a tablemate asked Depaulo.

"People just give it away to him. If he has all the chips, we can get them," another replied.

"I'm a tournament player, not a cash game player. I'm not going to give them away that easily," Depaulo said while stacking up his new chips.

Schumacher Moving Up

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Johan schumacher
Johan schumacher

With roughly 15,000 in the pot on a {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Spades} board, a player check-called for 6,000 against Johan Schumacher.

The {5-Clubs} completed the board and after a check, Schumacher bet enough to cover his opponent's stack of about 19,000. His opponent thought for about a minute and took a gander at Schumacher before sending his cards into the muck to concede the pot to the Belgian.

Hui Shocks Table With Big Fold.

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

In a three-bet pot, three players saw the flop of {2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Spades}. Adam Hui bet and then Ryan Hoffman raised to 13,500. The other player folded and Hui called.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} and Hoffman threw out a green chip for a bet of 25,000 and Hui folded.

"Show me what you folded and ill show you my hand," Hoffman told Hui,

"No, no i dont really want to show," Hui replied sheepishly

"Oh come on, man," Hoffman continued as she showed {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a flopped set of deuces.

Then Hui reluctantly turned over his cards to show that he folded {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} correctly, much to the shock of the table.

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Jen Shahade
Jen Shahade

Andy Miller opened to 1,000 from middle position and one player called in the cutoff before Jen Shahade three-bet to 4,500 on the button. Miller folded, but the field caller flatted again.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. Both Shahade and her opponent checked the flop.

The turn was the {2-Hearts}. The cutoff player bet 7,000 and Shahde called in position to take the hand to the river.

The river was the {j-Spades}. Shahade's opponent thought for about two minutes and bet 6,000. Shahade didn't think long before making the call.

The cutoff player showed {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, but Shahade had the {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for the winner.
