Foggin Wins Multiway

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

With around 10,000 in the pot and a flop of {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Jennifer Spector in the small blind threw out a 5,000 bet. Michael Latuf in late position, and the cutoff, Marc Foggin, both called.

A {3-Clubs} showed up on the turn and Spector bet 5,000 once again and both Latuf and Foggin called.

The {a-Diamonds} showed up on the river and didn't slow down Spector who bet another 5,000 and received calls from both. Spector flipped over {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, Latuf folded and Foggin showed {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} which was good to take the pot down.

Christina Gollins

Christina Gollins raised from the hijack for 800 and Maxime Chilaud three-bet to 3,000 in the small blind. It came back to Gollins who responded with a four-bet for 9,000 and Chilaud called.

The {7-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop brought no betting action and a {2-Clubs} hit the turn. This time, Chilaud check-called Gollins for 3,500.

The {j-Spades} completed the board on the river and after a last check from Chilaud, Gollins fired 10,000 into the pot. Chilaud tanked for some time but ended up folding his cards.

Perry Still Basking in the Glow of His Win

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

David Perry defeated Chris Moorman heads-up to win Event #43: $500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em earlier this series and used some of the $241,729 he won to take his shot at the Main Event today.

"Took on Chris Moorman. Had a hell of a time and learned a lot," Perry told his new tablemates, showing them news stories about his win.

In his last hand, Perry was in the small blind and called a 700 raise by Patrick Beuter. Perry checked dark as the flop came {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Bueter checked behind.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Perry check-called a bet of 800. Both players checked down the {4-Clubs} on the river.

"I have a seven," Perry said, showing {q-}{7-}. But Beuter turned over {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for sevens with an ace-kicker to take down the pot.
