Maimone Cracks Aces and Busts One

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

On a flop {8-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} with already 24,000 in the pot, Nick Maimone checked to his opponent who shoved for 40,500. Maimone went deep into the tank and eventually tossed a chip for the call, showing {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

His opponent revealed {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} and had good hopes for a double up but the {9-Clubs} showed up on the turn to give the straight to Maimone, who took down the pot and busted his opponent after the {8-Clubs} completed the board.

Mateos Faced with a Shove

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Brian Frenzel raised to 4,000 in middle position and Umut Ozturk just called in the hijack. Adrian Mateos three-bet to 15,500 on the button which got the blinds and Frenzel to fold but Ozturk called.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Ozturk just ripped all in, putting Mateos to the test for his remaining 75,000 chips. Mateos mulled it over for a moment but decided to ditch his cards to the muck.

Set Over Set

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jameel Harris raised from early position and Hoa Pham three-bet from the cutoff. Harris called and the flop was {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

Harris checked and then shoved the rest of his stack when Pham bet. Pham called and Harris was at risk for a total of 60,600 when the cards were turned up.

Jameel Harris: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Hoa Pham: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Harris was ahead through the {2-Clubs} turn, but the river {k-Spades} brought the better set for Pham.

"That was the case king! I folded one!", another player on the table said as Harris snapped a picture of the bad beat and left the game.

In a three-bet pot with around 15,000 in the middle, the dealer fanned the flop of {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. The action checked to Koray Aldemir on the button who bet 7,200. His opponent called and the {k-Hearts} paired the board on the turn.

Skyllas Takes One

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jungsoo Bin raised on the button to 2,500 and received a call from Lexy Gavin in the big blind, Cody Wheeler and Pete Skyllas. The dealer fanned the flop of {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Gavin checked to Wheeler who bet 3,500. Skyllas and Bin called while Gavin folded.

The turn was an {8-Spades} and Wheeler bet 11,300, only receiving a call from Skyllas to see a river.

A {j-Hearts} showed up on the river and both players checked then flipped their hands. Wheeler had {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for two pair and Dkyllas had {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a better two pair which took down the pot.

Saphier Shows Aces

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Melissa Saphier opened to 3,000 and only got called by the player on the big blind.

The flop revealed {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} and the big blind tanked a minute and check-called Saphier for 4,000. The same action happened on the {4-Diamonds} turn, this time for 10,000.

The river showed a {4-Hearts} to pair the board and after some thinking, both the big blind and Saphier checked. The big blind tabled {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} but Saphier turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} to win the pot.
