Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Clement Cure
Clement Cure

From under the gun, Clement Cure pushed all-in for the last 42,000 and he found a single customer in Senior's Event gold bracelet winner Eric Smidinger in the hijack.

Clement Cure: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Eric Smidinger: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

The {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop instantly improved Cure and he retained the lead thanks to the {8-Clubs} turn as well as the {9-Spades} river.

Loving Chips Up Near the Bubble

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Three ways to the {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} turn, Jonathan Woof checked in the small blind. David O'Callaghan then bet 15,000 in the big blind only for Carlos Loving to raise it up to 40,000 on the button. "You guys ..." Woof sighed and called while O'Callaghan folded.

The {q-Hearts} fell on the river and Woof check-folded to a bet worth 65,000.

Tentnowski Takes a Pot

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Dan Smith opened to 10,000 in middle position and Stanton Tentnowski flat-called on the button, while Ali Eslami also came along from the small blind.

The flop of {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} checked through and the same action took place on the {10-Hearts} turn. Tentnowski and Smith both checked again on the {q-Clubs} river and Tentnowski put together a stack of 40,000, at which point Eslami quickly folded and Smith also folded.

Tentnowski then said he hadn't meant to bet yet and had merely been counting out his chips, adding that he had intended to bet 50,000.

Shea Very Short Near the Bubble

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With just 62 players remaining and the money bubble in sight, the action has slowed down significantly.

Ivan Deyra chipped up a ton in a recent showdown hand in which Jack Shea paid off a chunky bet on the {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} river and was shown the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a straight by the Frenchman. That reduced the stack of Shea to nine big blinds and he is among those in the red zone.

Bodley Nearly Doubles Through Bissinger

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With plenty of chips already in the middle, the completed board showed {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Gary Bodley bet 25,000 out of the big blind. Christopher Bissinger then raised to 100,000 and that represented almost all of Bodley's remaining chips.

"Do you have a set?" he inquired but a very focused Bissinger only stared at the board. Half a minute passed and Bodley counted what he would be left with before exclaiming "fuck it" and making the call.

Bissinger tabled the {k-Spades}{4-Spades} but Bodley held the superior kicker with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} to win the pot and secure a near double-up.

Vranken Doubles Through Vandeput

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

In a battle of European qualifiers, Felix Vandeput jammed out of the big blind when Antoine Vranken had limped in and was snap-called by the latter for the last 90,000.

Antoine Vranken: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Felix Vandeput: {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

The {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs} board kept Vranken in the lead and he secured the double with a set of kings, sending Vandeput into the danger zone.

Konstantin Petrushev was less fortunate moments later on a different table and that reduced the field to the last 62 contenders.

Down to Seven Tables

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The money bubble is drawing closer with two eliminations in quick succession, one of which saw James Cordray run out of chips. Ali Eslami nearly reached a seven-figure stack as the field was reduced to the final 63 contenders.

Brent Bogdanovecz then doubled through Calvin Kincade when his {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} were the best hand on a {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Spades}{q-Clubs} board, the cards of Cincade were already mucked.

Last but not least, Michael Iannace arrived at his new table and pushed for 63,000 to claim the blinds and antes, revealing the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

They Don't Duke It Out at the Table Yet

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With the money bubble looming, a four-way pot emerged to the {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} turn. John Duke in the small blind bet 19,000 and he forced a fold from Antoine Vranken in the big blind.
