Eveslage Takes Big Bite Out Of Volpe
Level 17
No-Limit Hold'em
Chad Eveslage opened to 18,000 from the hijack and Paul Volpe called out of the small blind.
Volpe checked on the flop of J♠6♠2♥ and Eveslage continued for 20,000. Volpe called. Volpe check-called again when Eveslage sized up to 60,000 on the Q♠ turn.
Volpe checked once more on the 2♣ river and Eveslage fired a hefty bet of 150,000 to send Volpe into the tank. After some deliberation and inventory of his chips, Volpe made the call.
Eveslage tabled K♠5♠ for a king-high flush and Volpe showed A♠Q♣ as he mucked in defeat.
