Bonyadi’s Quads Takes Massive Pot
Level 28
: 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Four-time WSOP bracelet Farzad Bonyadi was involved in heavy action, which included a three bet, against an opponent in the small blind before the dealer placed cards on the board.
Bonyadi made the call to bring action to the flop, which produced 4♥7♣10♥. His opponent, who had Bonyadi covered, moved all in and Bonyadi immediately called.
Bonyadi: 7♣7♥
Opponent: K♣K♥
Bonyadi had his opponent crushed with middle set, and the A♥ on the turn didn’t help the opponent, who needed one of the two remaining kings to hit a bigger set.
The 7♠ hit the river, giving Bonyadi quads and a 3,500,000 pot.
