Friedman and Kessler Deepen Their Friendship

Level 4

Shortly after what seemed like a friendly confrontation, Alan Kessler was moved from the table he had shared with Adam Friedman.

"Go charm your next table," Friedman jibed.

Kessler replied as he racked up his chips, "You're going to get a good late reg player here now. That's a bad beat."

After Kessler was gone Friedman assured his tablemates, "I'm the only one he doesn't get mad at."

Strelitz Eliminated

Level 5

Daniel Strelitz: XxXxXx/Q4J7
Robert Mizrachi: JJ4/25A5
Matt Vengrin: XxXxXx/8562

Picking action up on sixth street with multiple bets already in the pot and Daniel Strelitz all in, Robert Mizrachi bet with his pair of fives and three spades showing. Matt Vengrin made the call to see seventh street.

Mizrachi bet again and after some deliberation, Vengrin called to see that Mizrachi had a flush. Strelitz and Vengrin both mucked their hands and a sizeable pot was pushed to Mizrachi.

Meriverta's Two Pair Dodges Paluszek's Pair and Flush Draw

Level 5

James Paluszek: K5J/54A7
Chris Vitch: XxXx/96 folded on fourth street
Jyri Meriverta: 26Q/Q844

James Paluszek completed from the bring in, but Meriverta raised behind him. Christopher Vitch and Paluszek called and it was off to fourth street.

Meriverta put in the continue, Vitch folded and it was down to Meriverta and Paluszek. It was a check from Paluszek and a bet from Meriverta on fifth and six, and when both players checked the river, Paluszek revealed his flush had come up short, and he had not caught another pair to beat Meriverta's queens and fours.
