Donny Rubinstein was sitting on one of the biggest stacks in the room with well over 100,000 but just lost a big pot to cut down his stack.
Rubinstein was in the big blind and called a raise from an under-the-gun player, as did an opponent in the hijack. The flop came 8♦2♥9♣ and action checked to the hijack, who tossed out a bet.
Both opponents called that bet and another on the 2♣ turn. The river came the 5♠ and the hijack bet again. Rubinstein quickly called, while the player under the gun frowned before making a reluctant call.
The hijack turned over A♥4♦2♦7♦ for trip deuces and a low as he scooped the entire pot.
