Alibrandi's Ladies Pay Off
Level 1
: Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Facing three checks on a board of 10♣A♠8♠, Paula Alibrandi bet 4,500 from the button. Only the player in the hijack called.
Alibrandi then bet 11,100 on the K♦ turn. Her opponent check-called. The river came 9♦. Both players checked. Alibrandi turned over Q♥Q♠. "I had too many outs!" remarked her opponent as he mucked 7♠5♠ face-up.
