Pardy Has Them Pipped
Level 10
: 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
There was a middle position open to 4500 when Jonathan Pardy three-bet jammed for 35,000. The action then folded to the small blind who did some accounting and cold four-bet jammed covering both of his opponents. The original raiser folded and the cards were on their back.
Jonathan Pardy: J♥J♠
Opponent: 10♣10♦
The dealer burned and turned the 3♠2♥5♠ flop and Pardy held the lead. The A♦ turn changed nothing and the 3♥ river gave Pardy the full double.
