The board read A♦9♥2♣ as the player in the cutoff bet out for 165,000. Artur Winstone in the small blind called and the player in the big blind folded.

The turn came the 7♥ and both remaining players checked through to the river which came the A♠.

Winstone now took the lead putting a huge bet of 900,000 in the middle. The cutoff snap-called and the cards were tabled.

The player in the cutoff shoved all in for their remaining 350,000 and Andrew Conway on the button called. The player in the big blind considered their options before also coming over the top and jamming all in for 600,000. Conway snap-called.

Galvan's River Stab Gets the Job Done

Fernando Fraire Galvan raised from early position to 110,00 finding a caller in the big blind.

The board of A♦3♥4♥ was checked through by both players to a turn of the 3♦. The big blind now chose to lead for 155,000 and Galvan called.

The river came the K♠ and the big blind slowed down. Seeing his chance, Galvan took a stab for 175,000 and his opponent relinquished their cards.

Kalyan Lakkavarapukota limped in early position. It folded around to the big blind who decided to check their option.

The flop came 6♦10♣A♣. When the action was checked over to Lakkavarapukota, he open-jammed for the remainder of his stack. His opponent thought for some time before deciding 570,000 was too much to see the last two cards and folded.

The flop of 6♥5♥2♣ saw no help come to the ace-eight, but on the turn A♣, Bitakis pulled ahead and held on the 7♣ river. Her husband John "Greek" Bitakis was watching from one table over, also having a successful start to the day, came over to embrace her after her win.

At another table, Nader Isahac was eliminated.
