Schulman Comes Back From The Brink After Being Left With Crumbs

Level 20 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Nozomu Shimizu raised from the hijack and was called by Nick Schulman in the big blind.

Schulman check-raised a bet from Shimizu on the Q39 flop and Shimizu called.

Shimizu then called a bet from Schulman on the 3 turn and raised a bet from Schulman when the 2 completed the board, sending Schulman deep into the tank.

Schulman eventually put in calling chips and Shimizu announced, "King-high flush," as he revealed K8 for the goods.

Schulman mucked and was left with just 100,000 after the hand.

On the very next hand, Schulman ended up doubling up through Joe McKeehen after getting all in with 1010 against McKeehen's 64 and holding up.

A couple of hands later, Schulman doubled up through McKeehen again after flopping top pair with AJ and ending up best.
