Idema called bets from Shimizu on the 6♦3♥7♠ flop and 2♣ turn, but then bet himself after being checked to on the 4♣ river.

Shimizu called and Idema tabled 9♦9♥ for a wired pair of nines. Shimizu couldn't beat it and mucked — awarding the pot to Idema.

McKeehen Pulling Away

McKeehen check-called the flop as well as the A♥ turn and the 4♠ river. Shimizu turned over A♣Q♦ for a pair of aces, but McKeehen tabled A♦K♠ to take the pot with a better kicker.

Pupillo Picks Off Arieh's Bluff

Arieh checked to Pupillo on the 8♠5♦6♣ flop and he bet. Song folded, but Arieh raised and Pupillo called.

Pupillo called bets from Arieh on the 8♦ and 10♦ river and Arieh showed 4♣3♣ for a busted straight draw.

Pupillo held A♣10♣ for two pair and collected the pot.

Shimizu Crosses 1 Million Mark

Nick Pupillo raised and Nozomu Shimizu three-bet from the cutoff before the button and blinds got out of the way. Pupillo four-bet and Shimizu called to see a flop.

The flop was 9♥4♣8♠ and Pupillo check-called a bet from Shimizu. Pupillo check-called again on the 3♣ turn and 2♥ river.

"Ace-high," Pupillo said as he turned over A♦K♦.

Shimizu showed 10♥10♣ to take the pot with a pair of tens.

Schulman Comes Back From The Brink After Being Left With Crumbs

Nozomu Shimizu raised from the hijack and was called by Nick Schulman in the big blind.

Schulman check-raised a bet from Shimizu on the Q♦3♣9♦ flop and Shimizu called.

Shimizu then called a bet from Schulman on the 3♦ turn and raised a bet from Schulman when the 2♣ completed the board, sending Schulman deep into the tank.

Schulman eventually put in calling chips and Shimizu announced, "King-high flush," as he revealed K♦8♦ for the goods.

Schulman mucked and was left with just 100,000 after the hand.

On the very next hand, Schulman ended up doubling up through Joe McKeehen after getting all in with 10♥10♦ against McKeehen's 6♦4♣ and holding up.

A couple of hands later, Schulman doubled up through McKeehen again after flopping top pair with A♠J♠ and ending up best.
