Elsby Takes Early Pot With Ace-High
Level 1
: Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
In a four-way pot with 3,900 in the middle on a flop showing 10♣8♣7♥, three players checked their options to Matthew Elsby on the button who bet out 1,600. Only the player in middle position called and the pair saw the 10♥ turn.
The action was checked to Elsby again who bet out 4,000 and his opponent made the call. The 10♦ hit the river and both players elected on a check to a showdown.
The middle position player rolled over K♦J♦ for a missed straight draw and king-high while Elsby scored the pot with A♣J♣ for the missed flush draw and ace-high.
