Chris Hunichen found himself on the button and in a raised preflop pot against Dan Smith, who was to his immediate right in the cutoff, and Stephen Chidwick, who was in the big blind.
The dealer placed 4♦J♣9♣ on the board, which drew checks from Chidwick and Smith. Hunichen bet 80,000, which forced Chidwick out of the hand. Smith called.
The turn saw 7♥, which Smith checked. Hunichen then kept up the pressure by betting 210,000, which Smith called to bring action to the river, where K♦ appeared.
Smith once again checked, and Hunichen took his time, even using a time bank chip before announcing a 475,000 bet. Smith immediately mucked his hand.
