Play resumed after the break and it didn’t take long for a big showdown to happen.
Yang Wang raised to 320,000 on the button, but then had a big decision to make when Jeremy Ausmus went all in out of the big blind for 2,230,000.
Yang went in the tank, using a total of three time bank chips before making the call to put Ausmus at risk.
Jeremy Ausmus: K♣Q♠
Yang Wang: J♦10♦
The dealer ran out A♥7♥3♠2♥2♦ to give Ausmus a double up and the hand, which devastated Wang’s stack.
