Zebib Flops a Set in Three-Way Pot
Level 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
A player in early position went all in for his remaining 18,500 chips and found calls from a player in middle position and Bassel Zebib in the big blind.
Both players checked the 10♦6♦J♦ flop. Zebib bet 18,000 on the J♥ turn. The player in middle position folded and action was heads up between Zebib and the early position player at risk.
Early Position: A♦Q♣
Bassel Zebib: 6♥6♣
The river was the K♣ giving the all-in player a straight. Zebib had flopped a set and turned a full house leaving his opponent drawing dead on the river. As a result Zebib was left with one of the largest stacks in the room at 170,000.
