Varnell Double Barrels
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Craig Varnell raised to 6,000 in the cutoff and was looked up by both the small and the big blind.
When the 10♥4♣2♠ flop hit the felt, both the blinds checked to Varnell who continued for 9,000. Only the big blind called.
The J♦ hit the turn and the big blind checked before Varnell fired another shell, tossing a bet of 18,500 across the line. The big blind only took a few seconds before tapping the table and pushing his cards into the muck.
