Ace-High Good For Kipnis
Level 3
Limit Hold'em
Heads-up on a flop of 2♥2♦9♦, Adam Kipnis bet from the cutoff and an opponent in the big blind called.
The turn came the 10♥ and Kipnis bet again. His opponent check-called to the 8♠ river and checked over to Kipnis a third time.
Kipnis now checked back and showed A♥K♥ for a pair of deuces, ace-kicker, that was good enough to win the pot.
The tournament clock recently went over 200 total entries. Among the newest additions to the field was Andrew Hamm and his familiar Elmo cap. "I had $300 this morning and turned it into $3,000 to get into this," Hamm said.
