The action folded to Jeremy Joseph on the button who opened to 800,000 with Q♥Q♦ and only Yuan Li defended from the big blind with Q♠8♠.
The flop fanned out J♠9♠2♦, and Li checked to Joseph who continued for 1,400,000. Li check-raised to 5,500,000 with his straight-flush draw and Joseph moved all in for his last 8,400,000 total. Li called and the cards were on their backs.
The turn was safe for Joseph when a 4♣ rolled off. However, the 6♠ hit the river and the flush for Li scored the pot to send Joseph to the exit in fourth place.
